Direct Mail
with Charism Enterprises
There's so much to learn if you're just getting into direct mail.  For one, you might not be sure what it really is.  Simply put, direct mail is any information you receive through your U.S. postal service that is at the same time being received by hundreds, thousands or more other households.  Direct mail is a standard and long-used format for getting the word out about your business or organization.  Government agencies use it, too.  The IRS forms sent out every year are just direct mail pieces.  Except, I would say, the government gets a lot better mailing rate than anyone else would.

We cover direct mail issues in the newsletter.  Hopefully, you'll read those and learn about the world of direct mail and find ways of making your projects easier and more profitable.

We are just now in a position to begin helping animal welfare groups with their direct mail projects, as well.  We can do this from a few different directions:
You can tell us what your project is about, what you need the money for (isn't that a laugh!), or at least vaguely what you have in mind, and we'll offer suggestions and - as they say - take it from there.
You can design a direct mail piece yourself and send it to us (snail or email) for review, editing, or whatever else you feel you need help with.
You can use a direct mail piece that we feature on our web page and have us customize it to fit your organization.

There may be other options, and you can decide on those.

If you do have a direct mail appeal in mind, or have a promotion that you'd like to discuss, just email us with the preliminaries and we'll start from there:

Do we charge (money, that is) for this?  Well, if it becomes time and money-consuming, yes, we will.  While we're not in this service to become rich, we'll keep any costs to a minimum, just enough to recoup our time and materials.  If we can offer you advise that costs us nothing, per se, then we're always happy to give it.

Please log on for more in the days and weeks to come.
