Sunday Dessert Bake Sale

A quickie fundraiser that takes relatively little time to prepare:

After church on Sundays a lot of people have to go home and prepare a Sunday lunch/dinner. You could save them the hassle of making dessert if you have it ready as they leave the building.

Purchase or make pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. Yeah, yeah, it's "just" a bake sale, but you can make flyers with a new twist ("Let us supply dessert - and you help the animals.) and hand the flyers to people as they're heading toward the church. When they emerge they'll be looking for you. You could go so far as to sell the items as they take the flyer from you and offer to keep it until after services.

A generous church would allow you to set up such a sale inside their premises. Anyway, it's good PR to develop and maintain good relationships with other nonprofits in your community. Scratch their back and they'll scratch yours.
